Erle Chrisman
|
Erle Chrisman connected the Chrisman family to the Schmitt family when he married Anna Schmitt, converting to Catholicism to facilite the marriage. He was born in Oregon to a family of woodsmen on April 26, 1899. His name was frequently given as Erle H. Chrisman, but the H didn't stand for anything. After being married, Erle Chrisman and Anna Schmitt lived in a house on 111th Street in Richmond Hill that was owned by Anna's father, William Schmitt. Erle died in October of 1966 while living in Pennsylvania. |
