Julia Hurley

Julia Hurley is the last known daughter of Michael Hurley, Sr., and Julia Leary. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, about 1875, before the family moved back to Pittsburgh.

Julia married Thomas F. McGee, a laborer who was born in England, sometime before 1898 and they had 6 children: Leo, Margaret (abt. 1898), Eugene (abt. 1903), Francis, Thomas (abt. 1902), and Christoper (abt. 1907).

Census forms show she and Thomas are still living in 1930. Family lore has it that Julia "stole the family bible", though there is no way of knowing what that really means.
