Richard Donovan

Richard Donovan was born in Wales in 1846. Some time before 1866, he married Honora Leary. Before emigrating to the United States, they had three children: Helen (abt. 1866), Honora (abt. 1869), and Cornelous (abt. (1872). They then emigrated to Pennsylvania, where they are found living next to her sister Julia (now Hurley) in 1880. Once arriving in the United States, they had four more children: Michael (1874), Daniel (1876), Richard (1878), and Mary Ann (August 1879).

In 1880, he is listed as an Assistant Puddler and by 1920 he appears to be retired and living with his daughter Mary Ann and her husband John Minick.
