Timothy Hurley

Timothy Hurley is the oldest known child of Michael Hurley and Julia Leary. He was born about 1863 in Merthyr-Tydfil, South Wales, and emigrated to the United States with his parents, probably between 1867 and 1869, though no records of the passage have been located.

Some time before 1890, he married Anna McNamara and they had at least seven known children: Julia, about 1890, Robert, about 1891, Paul, John, Michael Paul, about 1898, Tim, George, about 1903, and Anne, about 1906

Timothy's occupation is listed in the 1880 census as an Assistant Puddler. By 1910, he is an Assistant Heater at a Steel Plant and in 1920, he is listed simply as a Laborer in a Steel Mill.

Timothy is no longer found after the 1920 census, so presumably died between 1920 and 1930.
