Edna Hodgkins was born on December 26, 1902. She was the daughter of Sylvester Brierton, and granddaughter of James Brierton.
Edna married Herbert Hodgkins and they had two daughters, Cynthia and Barbara. Edna and Herbert remained close to Edna's half-first cousin Marguerite Brierton throughout their lives.
Edna died in January of 1993.
