Frey Family

The Frey family first appears in our family records with the marriage of a John Frey (1) to Amelia Schmitt. Nothing more is known about him other than the marriage, and the names of the children from the marriage; William, Joseph, Anne, Angela, John (2), and Katherine.

We know that Marguerite Schmitt and Marion Schmitt had some contact with the family before their own deaths, as did William August Schmitt earlier. Marion Schmitt supplied most of the names in this section, along with some notes that had been maintained by several people over the years. As far as we can tell, it has been some time since any member of our known family has had any contact.
