Margaret Kiellian

Margaret Kiellian was born n Kilkenny, Ireland, about 1853. Her parents were killed when she was 13. She was the youngest child in the family. Her Aunt and Uncle (he was the brother of her father) were childless, living in Brooklyn, NY, where they owned much property. They returned to Ireland and legally adopted her.

She married James Paul McAnn and they had 10 children, 8 of whom we have names for; Catherine McAnn, Annie McAnn, Tom McAnn, Emma McAnn, James McAnn, Johnny McAnn, Peter McAnn, and Margaret Jane McAnn. The two unnamed members of the family are believed to have been males. Most of what we know of the McAnn's comes down through Margaret Jane McAnn.

Margaret Kiellian died about 1891.
