She grew up on her parents farm in Watertown, CT and attended Watertown High School. She married Joseph Anthony Pranulis, and they lived briefly in Waterbury before building their own home in Prospect, CT. She and Joseph had 6 children, Joseph, Nancy, Donald, Carol, Laura, and Linda. She and her siblings remained close through their lives and the sisters made a habit of frequently meeting for lunch. Lillian developed a cancerous tumor on or near the liver in early 2000 and died in her home on July 27 of that year. Her funeral was held at St. Joseph's Church in Waterbury with several of her sons and sons-in-law serving as Pall Bearers and a Eulogy delivered by her son-in-law, Dave Alburty. She is buried next to her husband, Joseph, in a plot in the Lithuanian Cemetery in Waterbury. |
