John Patrick Hurley, Jr.

John Patrick Hurley, Jr. was born on April 27, 1906 to John Patrick Hurley, Sr. and Mildred Ellen Ancell.

On September 3, 1928, he married Margaret Myrtle Kappert at St. Georges Church in Allentown, PA. They had two children, Janet Patricia and Terrence.

John lived most of his life in the Pittsburgh, PA, area, but moved to Martins Ferry, OH, for a time as the Purchasing Agent for the Blaw Knox Company, a maker of armor and other equipment for the Army and Navy during World War II.

John had a heart attack while working on October 8, 1942 and died at his desk. He is buried in St. Georges Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA.
