Mildred Ellen Ancell is descended from a line of Ancell family members in the Americas who arrived in the early 1700's. She was born March 7, 1869 to Edward Catterton Ancell II and a woman whose name we only know as Mary E.
On September 17, 1899, she married John Patrick Hurley and they had 2 children, Edward Leo and John Patrick, Jr.
Mildred bore a striking resemblance to her granddaughter, Janet Patricia Hurley.
Mildred died of colon cancer at 10:40am on November 16, 1932.
